Product Description
Walttools Sealer Aid is one of those products that decorative contractors end up loving once they use it. Instead of piling another coat of sealer over a dull, worn-out driveway, patio, or decorative concrete surface and watching it lose its look again down the road, Sealer Aid helps bring the existing sealer back to life by softening it so it can be reworked and redistributed more evenly. The end result often looks like the surface was resealed, without the extra buildup that can cause problems later.
Its proprietary blend of solvents quickly breaks down the existing sealer film so you can refresh the surface instead of just burying it. That means better breathability, less loss of detail in stamped and textured concrete, and in many cases fewer moisture-related issues than you would get by simply adding another heavy coat. It can also be used as a primer when resealing very worn patios, driveways, and other decorative concrete surfaces, making it a really handy product to keep around for restoration work and sealer maintenance.

Brett James –
This stuff worked like magic. My patio has not been sealed in 3 years and was dull. I spoke to somebody there that suggested I use this to “prime” the surface before resealing. The process was to pour this on the surface in a section and then scrub it around with a push broom like I was washing the concrete with this, keeping the liquid pretty even. I let it dry for 30 minutes and it was like it had just resealed it. I guess this melts and reuses the dull sealer making it fresh again. Whatever it was, it turned out great and I had no need to apply more sealer.
