Product Description
Tru Strip is a biodegradable, industrial-strength sealer remover designed to break down and lift a wide range of coatings from concrete and other surfaces without the harsh feel of many traditional stripping products. It is very user-friendly, easy to apply by roller or sprayer, and highly effective on most standard sealers used on concrete, masonry, brick, metal, and wood.
Tru Strip provides strong stripping action on acrylics, urethanes, glues, varnish, alkyd paints, latex paints, lead based paints, and even some epoxies. One of its biggest advantages is that it emulsifies the coating as it breaks it down, which means once the material is released from the surface, it cannot re-cure. That makes removal more complete and helps prevent partially loosened coatings from resetting during cleanup.
It can be sprayed or rolled on, allowed to dwell for a few hours, and then wiped or washed away. Coverage will vary depending on coating thickness, but typical range is about 100 to 250 square feet per gallon. It is also available in a 1-gallon container. As with any coating remover, it is best to test a small section first and follow the product instructions before moving on to the full surface.

Tru Strip MSDS Sheet

This has changed what I thought of strippers. They have never worked completely in the past so resealing never looked as good. This took longer than I thought to work but after allowing it to sit all day in the hot sun, I could pressure wash everything clean, right down to the original concrete. Even grout lines. I never gotten that before.

I never gotten that before. Even less smell than the soy junk too. Sold me on strippers again.
I bought this to strip some old sealer of an outdoor countertop. This did work fast. Poured it out, rolled it around and I scraped off everything 30 minutes later. Just plan to spend some time cleaning when you are scraped since residue takes a while to clean just like others I have used in the past.
